Where does the money come from for EUD’s activities?

EUD’s activities are made possible to a large extent by funding received from the European Commission DG Employment and Social Affairs through the Community Action Programme To Combat Discrimination 2001-2006, from the budget line “Support For European Level Non-Governmental Organisations and Devoted to the Fight Against Discrimination. EUD needs to apply every year in order to obtain funding.

EUD members and others also contribute towards balancing the budget, although this is not always an easy exercise.

For specific short-term projects, funding is received from the relevant departments of the European Commission.
